Which parts of the rotary multi-directional displacement comb plate expansion device need to be insp
1、 Comb plate body and meshing gap
1. Main and auxiliary comb plates: Check for cracks, fatigue fractures, warping, severe wear, peeling and rusting of anti-corrosion coatings; Whether the transition between the board surface and the bridge deck is smooth, and whether there are any wrong platforms or steps.
2. Comb teeth meshing gap: Clean up crushed stones, mud, and debris. It is strictly prohibited to get stuck in the teeth, as sticking will directly limit multi-directional displacement and cause overload damage to the shaft; Observe whether the gap between teeth is uniform and whether there is any abnormal deviation.
3. Observation of vehicle passage: Check for any obvious vibrations or impact noises when the vehicle passes by.
2、 Axis/hinge displacement system
1. Shaft hinge point and pin shaft: Check whether the pin shaft is loose, detached, or corroded; Whether the rotation of the shaft is flexible, without any jamming or dryness.
2. Displacement control components (control seat, spring, limit piece): Check for fatigue fracture or deformation of the spring; Check for wear and cracking of the limit block; Is there any cracking in the weld seam of the multi-directional displacement hinge seat.
Once the shaft gets stuck, it will lose its lateral and vertical displacement ability, which can easily cause the toothed plate to crack.
3、 Anchor bolts and connectors
1. Fixed bolts for gear plates and anchor bolts for shaft bases: loose nuts, slipping threads, fractures, rust; The integrity of the bolt protection cover and sealant.
2. Weld seam location: Check for cracks and detachment in the welds of the comb plate base and the shaft support.
4、 Anchorage zone (transition section) concrete
Anchoring concrete and backfilling concrete on both sides of the expansion device: cracking, falling blocks, honeycombing, peeling, and potholes; Whether there is water seepage or whitening; Pre embedded anchoring steel bars are corroded. Damage to the anchorage zone will directly cause the suspension of the shaft base.
5、 Water stop sealing and drainage system
1. Bottom rubber waterstop/sealing strip: aging, cracking, perforation, detachment, delamination; Check for any signs of water seepage.
2. Drainage channels and water guiding components: unobstructed and unobstructed; After the water stop fails, rainwater enters the interior and quickly corrodes the rotating shaft, pin shaft, and embedded components.
6、 Supporting pressure bearing components
Supporting crossbeam, pressure bearing, and compression bearing below the shaft: whether there is compression deformation, cracking, damage, or rust; Is there any looseness in the support.
7、 Easy verification of overall displacement function
After temperature changes, observe whether the device can freely expand and contract, undergo slight lateral displacement, and have no forced top dead phenomenon; Compare historical gaps at the same location to determine if displacement has occurred.
